The Marcasite holds deep charcoal and storm-dark tones, textured and mineral-rich, like stone pulled from the heart of the earth. Its surface feels ancient and resolute, carrying the weight of layers formed slowly and without haste. This is a stone that does not rush, does not shine for attention, and does not soften its truth.
Wrapped in oxidised copper, the wirework curves protectively around the stone, echoing relic forms and forgotten talismans. The darkened metal enhances the grounded, shadowed presence of the piece, giving it a feeling of guardianship—as though it exists to anchor rather than adorn.

I work with recycled high-quality copper wire (bare, silver filled, and silver plated) to create each unique setting. This slow, intentional process ensures every pendant is truly one of a kind.
About the Metals
All metals used—copper, silver filled, and silver plated—will naturally oxidise over time, developing a patina that adds character and depth to your piece. To keep your pendant looking its best, gently clean it with a soft cloth, avoid exposure to chemicals or perfumes, and store it out of direct sunlight. The oxidised finish is intentional, lending each pendant an antiqued, soulful effect that deepens with wear.
